Rio is one of the main economical, cultural and financial centers in Brazil and is famous for its tourist attractions, such as Pão de Açúcar, Cristo Redentor, Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, Maracanã Stadium, Lapa, Theatro Municipal, Tijuca Forest and Flamengo Park, Quinta da Boa Vista, Biblioteca Nacional, samba and so on.

Its tropical climate is due to its location above the sea level. It rarely reaches the mark of 20ºC, but easily reaches the mark of 40ºC from November to March. In Rio, it is practically summer all year long.
